Behind the scenes

My Name is Jordyn Halliday and I come from Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula.

I’m very passionate about art and design and have a love for creativity and think it’s a great way to express yourself. I have always been interested in drawing and have always done it as a hobby on the side, mostly using the medium of graphite pencils in the past.

Some things I am inspired by are others around me and all their individual and creative ideas and styles. I am also often inspired by nature and the organic shapes and forms it takes. Neutrals, browns, tans and terracotas as well as vibrant greens are also colours from nature which I am finding myself constantly inspired by.

By studying Visual Merchandising I have learnt a variety of new skills in addition to improving my current skills. This has helped me to create and develop my branding which has been greatly inspired by the nature within Australia’s environment. This can be seen in the terracotta colours in my branding and also from the gum leaf vector art I have designed.

I hope to continue creating unique and eyecatching content and to further develop my skills and style in the art and design industries.
